reneeJ got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Do you feel lucky? Design a logo for the House of Good Fortune
Check out reneeJ's Logo design contest…
The House of Good Fortune is website dedicated to collecting and exploring good luck charms, amulets, talismans, beliefs, practices and totems of positivity. It will contain images and descriptions of these items, as offer certain objects for sale. The target audience is anyone who is curious about these topics and collectors of good luck charms.
Other color requirements
Please see the homepage image I uploaded (black cat on pink bakground) and make sure the logo's color scheme is harmonious. I'm thinking black or white. Thank you!
I’m interested in combination logos, like the Stumptown Coffee Roasters file I uploaded. I would like to incorporate some or all of the following elements: 1. A fortune cookie with images of a horseshoe, four-leaf clover, wishbone, silhouette of a maneki neko, the number 13, etc. on the paper part of the fortune that sticks out of the cookie. The words "House of Good Fortune" would also be incorporated. 2. An emblem containing the words "House of Good Fortune" and silhouettes of a horseshoe, wishbone, four-leaf clover, hamsa, maneki neko, 13, etc. Could be rectangular, circular or diamond shaped. Please see the sketches I uploaded to get a sense of what I am thinking. 3. The words "House of Good Fortune" surrounded by good luck charms like those listed above. Font: I would like the font to look vaguely Asian, but not like brush strokes that are hard to read. Please see the examples of fonts that I uploaded. The main image on the website homepage is a silhouette of a maneki neko (cat) on a hot pink background, so i am thinking that the logo itself should mainly be black and dark neutrals as I don't want to introduce a color scheme that will clash with the pink. Please see the homepage image that I uploaded, but I may decide to change the image over time. Thank you for reading this brief! I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
