Concept: The concept for it is "H.D. Scott" with a magic source in the middle or in the background. Something like a gem, orb, explosion, etc. that has magic pouring out of it. Probably best to convey the magic with light and color (see example images). I want the viewer to feel the intensity and freedom I get from writing. The feeling is similar to flying, or riding an ocean wave. No restrictions with a fair bit of adrenaline rush mania. My logo will mostly be used via electronic mediums (websites, social media, e-readers, etc.) Background: This logo is for my writing under the pen name H.D. Scott. I'm a fantasy author with a focus on "sword and sorcery" genre fantasy (though I will expand into sci-fi, urban fantasy, etc. later). The style ranges from funny new adult all the way to brutal grimdark adult. Ex: My first series is about a goblin storyteller and his adventures collecting new stories and trying to stay alive. It is semi-comical and could fit into standard fantasy or new adult. ** Added note based on early entries: The genre is "sword and sorcery", and you are welcome to add in whatever fantasy imagery you want that makes the logo hit that feel. However, it does NOT need to have a sword in it. (In fact, I prefer it doesn't have a sword in it unless it is done exceptionally well.)
