iCare Emergency Centers in Texas iCare is a freestanding emergency department (FSED).  Its business strategy is to provide a full spectrum of high quality, universal emergent healthcare services in an upscale environment that is friendlier and more convenient than a typical hospital ED can provide. I'd like to see a stylized red medical cross in the design.  I also prefer the simple more elegant designs.  We need to portray the trustworthy institutional feel in a friendly way.  People need to be able to quickly identify this as an emergency medical center.  It should also convey speed and urgency.  It should do all of this without seeming robotic which would take away from the 'caring'.  The small "i" is meant to convey the internet features offered.  We will also be doing some telemedicine over the internet.  FSEDs are a relatively new phenomenon.  People are often confused on the difference between an urgent care and an FSED.  We want the signage to reflect the difference. iCare will be located off of a large artery or interstate in a suburban box retail or strip mall location.   iCare facilities will be beautiful and new with amenities such as a coffee bar, wireless internet, luxury furnishings, granite countertops, and cable television on LCD screens in every room.

I'd like to use the slogan "the doctor is in"  Many people confuse Freestanding ERs with Urgent Care facilities.  We need to show the higher acuity type of situations cared for here.  Also that we offer these ER services at lighting speed. We want to convey the luxury angle without connoting that we are expensive.
