Exploding Pants, Inc. needs a logo...

We're looking for a striking logo and color palette to kick start our software company's brand. At the moment, we are running quiet, but want to make an impression when we release our first application.

About the company name:

The name of our company comes from an urban legend investigated by the Mythbusters show. The story goes that in 1930's New Zealand, farmers pants started spontaneously exploding after working with common chemicals such as fertilizers.

Scope of project:

We'd rather not place too many stipulations on the crafting of our logo, we want to see creativity.  That said, we want a brand with "stickiness" and appeal, something fun and fearless.  Ideas we've kicked around include something retro or campy, possible using the pixel art style.  You are in no way required to work within those parameters, we would prefer that you impressed us with your originality and design-fu.

The not-so-fine-print:

Should a winner be chosen, we require that ALL source files and materials be handed over upon payment.  You are also required to transfer all rights and ownership of these materials to us.  We reserve the right to cancel or extend this contest at any time should a suitable design not be found.

- A fresh, fearless, creative, attractive brand
- ORIGINAL artwork is required.
Stock art or submissions copied from others will be eliminated.

- Copied, stolen or "tweaked" artwork
