Sam did a fantastic job balancing creativity with literal depictions of services. He was extremely responsive, very pleasant and provided quick, high-quality work. We are thrilled with our designs.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a Defense (Military) and Intelligence Community (CIA) related technical R&D and also have a "think tank" Policy Analysis division. Think satellites, heads up displays, holographic technology, virtual reality, lasers, robotics, exoskeleton suits (high tech); defense agency modernization; defense policy analysis. Half Public Policy Research and half High Tech R&D.
Our initial primary focus will be developing technologies that will provide defense against and protect our soldiers from Improvised Explosive Devices. Our competitors: (Lockheed Martin; Northrup Grumman; Booz, Allen, Hamilton; SAIC, CSC/Dyncorp, Ideal Innovations Inc.). We have some big competition and need to kick off our industrial strength web site with a great logo and art.

Target audience are senior government executives age 40 - 60 in Washington DC. Potential employees are Ex military special operations personnel and senior military officers.
Psychographics: interest likely include politics, military, national security issues (high tech military equipment) Values tend to be traditional all American (God - Family - Country)
Slogan or Tag line: Still brainstorming this, but we think we're going with "Innovative Solutions" or "Defense Solutions"
I have reviewed the competitions logo's and the basic rules for corporate logo design. The competition keeps it pretty simple. We should probably follow suit.
This has the potential for being seen all over the world, quickly.
