How tadrian194 started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Wasted Frog Brewing Company
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Wasted Frog will be a craft beer microbrewery focusing on uncommon and experimental ales that are not necessarily within style guidelines. The target market is primarily well educated males ages 25-45 in medium to high wealth jobs who are not only able, but choose to spend a premium price for premium everyday products. Active (running, biking, etc), environmentally-focused, progressive, also somewhat "hipster." This person is more likely to shop for all-natural products i.e. Whole Foods over WalMart.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Greens: Growth, harmony and success.
Let designers make suggestions:
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Wasted Frog Brewing Company has a deeper meaning than what is on the surface. Navy SEALs are commonly known as "Frogmen." The company's owner wanted nothing more than to join this elite community, and after years of busting his ass finally earned himself a slot to attend SEAL training. Just after graduating basic, he was diagnosed with an ultimately harmless but technically disqualifying from special operations duty medical condition and removed from training. He fought the decision but to no avail. He would have made a great Frogman, but had the opportunity stripped from him by Big Navy. In essence, he was a "Wasted Frog" in that he never got a chance to prove himself in training, much less the field. He then decided to pursue his second passion of brewing beer and founded this company.
The logo shouldn't be too terribly complex, but still easily recognizable and eye-catching. It would also be great if it had the capability to be used in black and white or single-color patterns for merchandising (glasses, shirts, hats, etc.). We're not the artistic type so we're leaving it all up to the experts as far as what the design of the logo should be. Thanks for taking on this project!!
