We are a non-denominational church that is modern. We are focused on serving our community, helping those in need, and sharing our faith. The word "Heirloom" means to pass down something valuable to the next generation. So, the heart behind our name is the idea that carries meaning from generation to generation. We hope to be a community that carries on the best of our faith while allowing for new growth. We are trying to find a way of conveying what an "heirloom" actually is. We do want to convey the word heirloom. No heart, please, or anything "churchie" or generic. A few ideas could be: 1. We like the lower case "h" but that is just an idea for you to use. 2. The area is known as "Texas hill country" so anything that conveys those elements of the environment would be great. Hills incorporated in the design would be great. 3. We want the emphasis to be on the h not the C Things to avoid: Hearts rainbows butterflies Too Youthful We want to avoid crosses or anything that is too "churchie" while this may sound odd...we are trying to appeal to people that may not be familiar to church or faith. So we want to have a unique, professional look. We also don't like hearts, butterfly, or anything too boxie...we like more circle look. We want it to be clear, simple, and it's visually "busy" Who are we and what do we do? We are a non-denominational church/non-profit that is focused on serving our community, helping those in need, and giving people vision for their lives. We are very community-oriented that are trying to reach families, young professionals, and creatives near the Austin, Texas area. What's the meaning behind "Heirloom"? What are we wanting to do? Option #1: You can incorporate something with a cactus 🌵 or a symbol inspired by central texas into the logo or into the word "heirloom." You can try make h look like cactus or make L the cactus in heirloom. We would like a simple and modern approach. We are also liking some type of retro look with teal/orange/white. Option #2: You can do something simple with the name Heirloom church (example at the bottom). Connecting Heirloom with the name of the church. Option #3: Use the extension of the h to create a mountain under the entire name heirloom which reflects the landscape of the area. I will include a drawing at the bottom. We like simple/retro/bold/ We have provided inspiration below.
