The Dreamline is a private selection craft cannabis company that, in an emerging market full of gentrification and racial injustices, is a proudly black-owned social enterprise.

This project will not only entail the design of a main branding logo, it will also entail individual designs/symbols for every product from The Dreamline (all individual herb strains, edibles, medical capsules/oral syringes, etc.). There is plenty of work to be done and we are looking forward to collaborating, thank you for your time and for helping us speak truth to power. Following this summary will be updated design directions: We want The Dreamline to take inspiration from craft premiere wine distillers, something that projects that against the odds, from the ground up, a team worked incredibly hard over long careers to master a craft. We need a branding that embodies this. We like the luxury-ish designs but rather than the more cursive fonts, we’d prefer a simple yet bold font or a more basic modern cursive. Nothing gaudy however, we want a refined design that isn’t over the top but also fleshed out and full-bodied in its own right. We are fans of the solidarity/empowerment iconography found throughout progressive movements as well. For the main logo: We are considering two symbol directions. One is a minimalist and/or abstract lion head with some parts of mane as hemp leaves woven in organically. A different direction is leaning into the “dream” symbology and are open to suggestions on both of these fronts.
