Open Kitchen D.C., launching in the summer of 2019, offers D.C. area residents and visitors a truly unique way to experience our diverse city. Open Kitchen events are part cooking class, part cultural experience, mixed in with a whole lot of fun. Events include a cooking demonstration, opportunities to connect with and hear the owner's story, family-style meal with wine pairings, dessert, and a gifts that helps guests make a new dish at home.
The logo's design should be simple and attractive enough to embroider on a kitchen apron and stick on a spice bottle but unique enough to grab people's attention when scouring the internet for something fun and new to do.
Our target audience ranges in age and is highly educated, well traveled, and culturally curious. I want a logo is fun, unique, and has an international vibe. I also am attracted to vintage looking imagery as shown in several of the images selected below.
