lyle.gadin got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Empowering Logo Needed For Youth Fitness Training Program
Check out lyle.gadin's Logo design contest…
The URL will be www.teamk12performance.com Team K12 Performance ("Team K12") is a training program that seeks to bridge the gap between exercise physiology and educational psychology. Team K12's target training/customer audience is youth between the ages of 9 years old and 17 years old by involving them is proven exercise and movement progressions that will benefit them not only in health, but yield mental and emotional benefits as well. Our primary marketing audiences are as follows: 1 - the parents of these children so that we can inform them the physical benefits of involving their children in movement/exercise and sharing the documented benefits there will be to their mental and emotional states. 2 - educators within school systems in the hopes that they will reach out to Team K12 to discuss the possibility of installing a TEAMK12 Program for their students as a class or after school activity. 3 - and health club operators so that they will have a turn key program that their training team can run under the TEAMK12, for example "Powered by TEAMK12", to train youth in the communities that their health club's are located. There will be a need for the logo to invite the youth and parents to look into it more, however, there must be a balance as school educators and successful fitness club owners must also see this logo as professional and attractive.

• We like the script type of logo with an integration of the chicago skyline. •It would be great to have use of the white space to convey something about youth, activity, or exercise. •Please do not use a piece of fitness equipment in the logo, literal or abstract. • The logo needs to engage youth, but also be professional for school educators, health club owner, and parents. • This program was created in the gritty housing projects of Cabrini-Green in Chicago, IL (now since demolished). We would like it to have some texture to show some "grit" and "hustle". However, to mention it again, it needs to stand on its own in front of the most successful health club operators in the world, and high ranking school officials. •Our goal for our program is to have it installed in health clubs and schools around the world. We would provide the training, programming, and support to the coaches and educators who invest in the program - with that said, the logo will be seen from kids to child psychologists, gritty single location health club owners to uber successful national health club chain CEO's.
