momentsphotography got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Elopement & Adventure Photographer Logo
Check out momentsphotography's Logo design contest…
I am a traveling intimate wedding and elopement photographer. My target audience are "20 something" year olds who want a more organic, raw and intimate experience.
I’m interested in emblem logos. -INSPIRATION & LOGO EXAMPLE- I LOVE hand drawn polka dots (like in the Chez Nunez logo I've attached). If I could, I would duplicate Chez Nunez's logo. The elements from this logo that I am 100% sold on are the hand drawn ovals, hand drawn polka dots and some floral/plant element. I am open to seeing "Moments Photography" in a different location, possibly following the curve on the outside left "corner" and bottom right "corner" of the oval. Instead of having the hand drawn oval lines run parallel with each other, have them overlap a couple of times as if someone just quickly came and drew them (I uploaded an example of this under Design Inspiration). -COLORS- I'm not necessarily seeking color to be incorporated, but if it is, I prefer deep, warm neutrals. Rusts, terra cotta, etc. Maybe have color in the florals/pampas or in the letters? Or maybe as the background instead of having a transparent image? I've included a mood board of the tones I gravitate towards. -FONTS- The vintage font that caught my eye is The Beauty Script & Ornaments by Lettersiro. I am interested to see Beauty Script & Ornaments used in my logo. The font file has been uploaded to the "references" section! -FLORALS/PLANTS- In case you wanted to play around with specific florals, the following florals have meaning to me and you can use any one of them: Chrysanthemums (example uploaded) and dried pampas grass (example uploaded). -MISC- Also, really random, but I love disco balls. Don't know how that would look in a logo, but thought I'd throw it out there in case it was interesting! The mood board shows the way I like to use disco balls. I am 100% sold on hand drawn polka dots and the hand drawn ovals being used similarly to Chez Nunez's logo. Thanks so much for your time & efforts! I can't wait to see the magic you create!

Nicole understood my needs and desires so I chose to go for her early in the competition. We had a good dialogue about nice solutions and choices and she came up with a very elegant design that was nicer than I expected. She is a creative designer with an understanding of the customer's wishes. I can highly recommend her.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
