Hartstone Inn & Hideaway
We are a 21 room Inn/Boutique Hotel with a gourmet restaurant that has been in business for 12 years. We are located in Camden, Maine on the scenic Maine coastline. Our restaurant does not have a separate name from the Inn, which is part of our challenge with designing a logo.
Sophisticated travelers interested in fine cuisine and a "foodie experience."
The Inn is a foodie destination with gourmet dining, cooking classes and other foodie events, so we would like this to reflect in the logo. This is what stands us apart from our competition. The Inn has a French Country decor. We are currently using Balmoral font in our materials for the name.

My wife likes the rooster logo at the following web address: http://www.laubergeprovencale.com/ for it's colors and whimsy but again, our logo needs to reflect the food aspect of our Inn.
The logo needs to be colorful, but also needs to be used in gray-scale. We will be using it as a stitched image on hats, shirts and chef jackets in addition to our website and advertising materials.
