Education conference logo - showcase your creativity

We are a catholic system of 27 primary and 5 secondary schools located in regional Australia.

We need a logo for our learning and teaching conference in July 2011 which will focus on contemporary practices for effective classroom practitioners in Catholic schools. Our focus is on inspiring and modelling cutting-edge thinking and practice around pedagogy in K-12 education.

Themes we are considering:
creating futures / sacred trust / collaboration / learning from each other / inspire / teach / change / innovate / what are the possibilities for kids in our schools? / excitement / passion / we have the knowledge basis to create something new and better for our kids / refusing to allow the ideas of the past to become the cement of the future, Hope / Growth / Trust / Spirit / Journey / Wisdom / Learner / Touching the Future. / Plutarch “The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to ignite.”

Existing employees: principals, teachers and support staff in our 27 primary schools and 5 secondary colleges. Our staff include new employees to teaching, highly accomplished practitioners with considerable years of service and all points in between.

We require a logo which can be used in the marketing, promotion and communications associated with our conference in 2011.

Our tag-line has not been finalized, the following phrases are getting close:
• Finding the balance : learning and teaching for a changing world
• Let your light shine : teaching for a world of change
• Teachers matter
• Teachers make the difference
