Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We license software to schools across K12 in Canada and the U.S. Our software integrates 1) a digital portfolio for students to upload their work, 2) a communication system for students, teachers, and parents to connect and message each other about the student's work, and 3) a grading system ranging from stars or checkmarks, to letter grades or percentage grades. Students can look back over their portfolios over years to see their learning growth. Parents can view what students are working on in school to better support the learning at home. Our brand promise which is included in all of our promotional materials is "Let's have a deeper conversations about learning."

We are considering changing the company name from FreshGrade to FreshMinds to reflect new functionality in the platform and to support our corporate vision to move beyond K12 into higher education and potentially corporate training. Since the company currently has a customer base, we are thinking the new logo should evolve from our current logo. We'd like it to look "of a family" with our current logo to reduce confusion among our current customers when we transition. I've attached 1) our current logo, 2) a version of our current logo along with our brand promise statement though I'm not requesting that the brand promise statement be included in this design, 3) a product screen shot, and 4) and new ad that includes icons for each of our main features (portfolio, gradebook, & communication system).
