How Flourysh started their logo design journey
New online ecommerce store specializing in roses is about to launch. Elegant, romantic, curly soft on the eye logo required.
The Rose Shack
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
The logo should be based on the flower in the wallpaper (http://www.jws.co.za/client/theroseshack/wallpaper.jpg). It should be simple, curly, romantic, soft on the eye. The logo should ‘flow’ and not be 'blocky'. Background colour of the logo should be dark grey. The writing on the logo should be cream with a 'romantic' font. Tendrils (the small curly parts of the plant that grow from the stem) should be included to make the logo more ‘flowy’. Have a look at this sample of wallpaper that is more flowy and has extra tendrils: http://www.jws.co.za/client/therose…aper2.jpg. An additional rose head may be included in the design.
The stem in wallpaper.jpg is too stiff. The logo's stem should be a bit more wavy.
The name of the business 'The Rose Shack' must be included in the design.

- soft stem on the rose
- one or two rose heads
- extra tendrils to give the logo 'flow'
- Do not make an exact copy of the wallpaper, it is there as an example
