Australian Art Press
Australian Art Press is a new art print publisher specializing in hand-made fine art prints and museum quality digital limited-editions by young and emerging artists.
Australian Art Press has been created to supply product to a series of established art consultancy businesses and galleries already run by us, so its market with private/public sector corporates and 'in-the-know' urban dwellers is already captive. We deal in a wide range of modern and contemporary styles, from 'fine art' through to grungy illustration, even some letterpress typography and calligraphy! We and our clients have a broad definition of creativity and are always looking for memorable, thoughtful visual expression.
The logo will appear on our website, stationery, advertising - the usual suspects - plus as a watermark on product.
The design may suggest a range of traditional and contemporary fine art printing techniques such as wood/linocut, lithography, monotype, screen- printing and digital inkjet. Tools of the trade such as burins, scrapers, inks, rollers, presses, screens and digital dot patterns may also be used for inspiration. However, the design should not be too specific. A partially abstract solution is preferred so as to suggest the wide range of artistic product we carry and the diverse technical approaches taken by our artists.
The logo should be in full colour an also suitable for adaptation as a one colour/reverse version. We need a .ai file or eps with PMS colours specified, and a TIFF version showing process equivalent colours.
We like these examples (see below), but we're keen to see your unique take on the brief too!
