Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Architects, Engineers, Building developers, Building owners pursuing energy efficiency measures. Our target audience is fairly small in the fact that we would be marketing our services to a building owner as his representative. We would be overseeing the design of the building project form a energy efficiency stand point.
We would also market our services to Architects and Engineers to team up with their firm as a consultant to advise them on their designs for sustainability and energy efficiency.
In the future we anticipate the Real Estate Industry to require our services at the time of sale to measure the energy efficiency of the building before it is sold and to recommend energy efficiency upgrades to the building.
Our business is a very technical business which includes a lot of testing, report writing, etc. We would like to make an emphasis on the reliability that our company offers as well. We would like our logo to represent our company and the services we provide as well as an overall feeling of energy efficiency (green) but we dont want a generic symbol that people might confuse our company as being a recycling company, or misconceive what it is that we do.
We would like to give the designers the following options for their Basis of design.
1. Incorporating our acronym AEP into the Logo design but keeping the acronym simple at the same time adding watermarked designs/logo behind or beside "AEP", easy to read and identify without being too much like letters grouped together.
2.Some of the parameters are as follows;
No recycling symbols, no houses, no lightbulbs, no roofs with chimneys, no earth, no wind mills, no solar panels that are too cheezy. We do not want to replicate another company's logo. We would like to be as original as possible and as savvy as possible.
We are an energy efficiency and sustainability company and would like to incorporate the color green into the design but it is not required.
