Dynamic dentist duo needs a clean, modern logo to reflect new ownership and branding

We are a family general dentistry practice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana owned by a husband and wife team. Unlike much of our competetion, we limit our practice mainly to restorative dentistry, (fixing teeth), and utilize the best specialists in our area to treat patients with complex dental needs. We take a comprehensive approach to dental care, ensuring we are treating all underlying causes of dental disease including sleep apnea, systemic disease, and parafunction. Our target audience is like-minded individuals, specifically specialists in other industries, medical professionals, detail oriented people, and families seeking the highest level of care available. While the trend in dentistry is moving more towards "everything under one roof," and "same-day dentistry," our approach is that we strive to provide the type of dental and medical care we would seek for ourselves and our family members - we want the most experienced and talented people working in their specific area of dentistry on our patients, and we will not take shortcuts to care for our patients. While this may mean we can't get everything done in one day, we do everything in our power to make sure things are done correctly and efficiently the first time, and try to provide the most long-lasting, esthetically pleasing and functionally sound results for our patients.

We are in the process of transitioning from a retiring partner to a husband and wife practice. Our current branding can be seen at www.mybrdentist.com. We want a complete and total overhaul from a branding perspective, and our logo is our first step in that process. In the future we plan to reskin our website, and have new stationery designed that better fits our brand vision. That said, at this time we would like to see how the process works with 99 designs, and may consider help with those projects in the near future. The vision for this logo is something clean, and modern. The color palette is yet under-determined but we do like the blue/green/gray theme. We are a fee-for-service dental practice, meaning we do not contract with any insurance companies. While most of our patients do utilize dental insurance, this means we do not discount our fees to be considered "preferred providers." We aim to be a step above our competitors, we try not to offer a lot of discounts or offers, and we strive to provide the best of dentistry that is available and understand that our practice is not a fit for everyone. That said, we want our branding to communicate to a wide range of people the type of practice we are and not to be overly intimidating or exclusive. We have fooled around with sketching our ideas and I will attach a bunch of ideas. The ones we like have yellow check marks by them, but we are open to your creative ideas outside of our own as well.
