Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We're a start-up donut company. Currently only selling wholesale, we're hoping to open a retail location in the next six months. We're going to have higher end donut flavors (chai cardamom, lavender rosemary, mexican chocolate, etc.). We'll still have your everyday flavors (vanilla, chocolate, pumpkin, etc.), but we're going to set ourselves apart by having unique flavors not found elsewhere.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We thought the company was going to be called Homestead Donuts, but had to change it. I like the font used for this which is sort of classic yet modern. You can ignore the color pallette used previously and instead just use this for font / layout inspiration.
I like the weathered treatment of this logo.
I like the fun font they used for Early Rise.
I like the simplicity and heritage surrounding these logos. Look like they've been around for years.
I like the layout of this logo. It looks very classic.
We are going to sell donuts, but I want to focus on the brand "Donut Republic" first and foremost. We may or may not include an actual donut in the logo. I am leaning towards not at this point.
We've been leaning towards a lot of rustic, colorful, and weathered design ideas for the retail location. I've also been toying with the idea of a banner / crest in the logo to make it feel like the Donut Republic is an actual location / place that you can visit and gives it some heritage.
Lots of fun pops of color (reds, oranges, yellows, teals) along with large swathes of muted / neutral colors (beige, white, grey). Here's a link to a pinterest board we are using for design inspiration: https://www.pinterest.com/jeffwoelk…ign-ideas/
We've highlighted some specific images that are attached.
