UrbanFarm in the heart of the Philadelphia Business District, is a fast casual restaurant, with a focus on serving healthy, creative food catering to all diets. At UrbanFarm our primary goal is to make people happy and healthy through fresh, all natural, great tasting food. By promoting the importance of all natural, local, organic and sustainable ingredients, we will give our guests a break from the processed, fast food they normally encounter in the city, and show the advantages of fresh ingredients.
More than just food though, UrbanFarm aims to provide an all-inclusive lifestyle experience to our consumers. We will complement our food and beverage service with activities such as Yoga, Pilates, and other holistic exercise activities to help our consumers strengthen their body. We will educate the mind of our consumers through cooking classes and educational vendors, informing our consumers of eating trends and healthy dining and lifestyle habits. And through our sustainable practices and our warm, friendly atmosphere, we will help nourish our consumers’ overall spirit.
Our guests will enter the front door and be transported to a rural farm type setting, helping them escape the concrete jungle. Service will be a “market-style” dining experience, where our consumers walk through the line and choose as much or as little as they desire, and then will pay by weight for their meal. UrbanFarm’s offerings will focus on serving healthy, creative food catering to all diets. Completely gluten free, soy free, dairy free, and peanut free, Urban Farm’s emphasis will be on employing the use of local, all natural, and organic ingredients as much as possible.
Our guests will be able to dine downstairs, where they will be surrounded by rustic, reclaimed wood tables and chairs, fresh vegetation in planters, and old farm equipment, or they can travel up to our rooftop garden and deck, where they can enjoy their meal underneath the sun for a truly unique dining experience.
Urban Farm will also employ green roofing techniques and indoor gardening in order to lower our carbon footprint while also creating sustainable menu options, and promoting a sustainable culture to our consumer base.
