This is how we are going to rate the designs during the first phase. Realize that early on, we probably won't rate anything 4 or 5 stars, until we have seen a substantial number of designs and can make a good decision:
(1*) - Thank you for your proposal but not what we're looking for
(2*) - Nice idea concept but wrong direction
(3*) - Please make some changes, we like your style
(4*) - Excellent proposal, could be considered as a finalist
(5*) - In the final round
When we get to the final round, we will ask to see all designs in color, black and white, grayscale, and reverse (white over black). We don't need you to provide these now, just know that we will ask for them.
FYI - Our firm has been in existence for nearly 10 years. We were formerly known as Altum Partners LLP and have shortened our name to Altum LLP. As a result, we want an identity in our new logo. Our former color scheme was blue/silver and we are changing to a deep red (burgundy) and gray color platform. We have an existing sign that will be revised to remove the word "Partners", change the color of the words, and include a logo or some design with our name. The background of the sign will remain silver/gray. Ideally, our logo should be to the left of our name due to the sizing of our sign, and not above it. This design will be used with our existing website. Also open to combining something with our name. Our website revisions are in progress but can be viewed at http://www.altumllp.com. As an accounting firm, our persona can be somewhat sophisticated and modern. Please include Certified Public Accountants in a smaller font in your design.
Some of our competitors in the area would be Armanino, BPM, Moss Adams, Frank Rimerman, as well as national/international firms such as Deloitte, Ernst & Young, etc if you want to view their websites.
Note, our sign looks gold in the picture, but is really silver.
Our current logo is 6 lines to the left of our name for the 6 founders. However, the firm has now split off and that logo doesn't work.
