Design a salon logo geared towards women that's signifies luxury but is simple and timeless with an artsy edge

I'm a hair stylist. The vibe is color and cuts that have a lived-in, effortless feel and are not fussy. Colors are hand painted and not put in traditional foils so the outcome is much more natural and organic. Cuts and color grow out softer. My target market is women 40-50 yrs old that appreciate and can afford more luxurious things. They have money but are not snobby about it. They shop at boutiques and stores like Anthropologie, Free People, JCrew and Banana Republic. They are driving something like Audi or Range Rover. They travel and like adventure. They have to color their hair now but want it to have a natural appearance.

I’m open to ideas on the type of logo that’s best for my brand. I seem to be attracted to typography that looks clean and timeless but would like to have a pop of color or something to make it more creative and interesting. I'm not opposed to some design element as long as its not overly complicated looking. Do not want a scissors graphic being in the logo even though its part of my profession. It's too over used.
