Great designer. Really came up with wonderful variations, each one working well visually.
Very good designer. Submitted several designs and asked for feedback.
How nic.droste started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are an academic project, with the aim of exposing the way in which corporations influence political decisions in their favour, sometimes at the expense of public health. The project has a specific focus on tobacco, alcohol, and gambling industries. We aim to increase awareness of these tactics amongst professionals, academics, students, journalists, and politicians/policy makers. The logo will be for a website we are developing internally, which is intended to act as a resource for these individuals who are looking for more information.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
The logo and colour scheme will need to be compatible with Deakin University webpages and colour schemes (for. e.g., see deakin.edu.au)
We have developed a tag-line for the project; "Understanding the mechanisms of corporate political activity." If the designers feel that this could be integrated into the logo without it being too busy then this would be great, but this is not essential to the design.
The project focuses on tobacco, alcohol and gambling industries, so these are potential visual motifs that could be used in the logo. We would probably give priority to logos that integrated these motifs somehow, but it's not essential.
