We are an online Vacation Rental startup specializing in resort market vacation lodging. Our target audience is the affluent traveler looking for luxury accommodations in the country's top ski, beach and outdoor recreation towns.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.

The logo (like any good logo) should portable and needs to work in Black & White as well as color and with or without the suggested tagline. Additionally, we'd like the logo icon to stand alone apart from the logotype.
DESIGNERS - I'm attaching an .eps of the font we'd like used in the logo - Your job is to create a strong logo mark (icon) that is both unique and recognizable. We like strong, solid logo concepts that are both clever, simple and easy to distinguish.
THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX - Yes, we're in the Luxury Travel market, but that doesn't mean it should be airplanes or palm trees - we want you to think outside the box - give us something you'd recognize on a sign a block down the road. Stick to one-color. Use negative space. Be creative - we're far more concerned with getting a brand-mark that looks cool and is easily recognizable, than something that has anything to do with travel.
PLEASE - Don't just take the letter "K" from our name and stylize it. If we wanted letters or clip art we wouldn't be here. In fact, please avoid using the letter "K" at all in your icon designs.
