How ganzcommunicator started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
G, GANZ or neither.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our organisation aims to further the interest in Gestalt in the Australia and New Zealand region.
Gestalt is a holistic approach that appreciates the whole of who a person is (mind, body, context - history/environment). It's about the creativity and collaboration formed within the therapeutic relationship that can support change/transformation in the client.
The members of our organisation are counselllors, psychotherapists, organisational coaches, psychologists and students who work, study, research or just have a general interest in the field of Gestalt psychotherapy, counselling and psychology.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Community & Non-Profit
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
Just something fun and vibrant, whatever the colour choice.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Gestalt is about parts and context - what you see depends on your perspective on the whole.
Something that pops out and looks interesting and fun.
Something a bit playful in design perhaps?
Gestalt has the idea of figure-ground. There's a "shape-shifting" energy that gets activated.
another play with perspective shift. Very Gestalt!
Gestalt's idea of shifting perspective
Clever figure/ground swap over
clever image made of images
The design must be unique and original: no copied material or stock images please. We do not want cliche images of lotus flowers, people holding hand or a pale/washed out colour palette. While growth is a theme in therapy, we don't really want leaves, flowers or trees to be the main focus of our logo please as so many other therapists/massage places/health retreats use those. Subtle depictions may be fine but we'd really like something more creative, original and imaginative please.
You could do a Google image search for "Gestalt" to get an idea of the energy.
