Can you design a memorable logo that combines Fun and Mystery?

Taboo is a lifestyle app. In our first version of the app, we are targeting dating and in future versions of the app, we would enlarge it to include a platform for also meeting platonic friends, networking and having community conversations. The theme and design of the app is a masquerade party (avatars and masks) – the fun of seeing someone (15-second selfie videos), the person hiding, you seeking them via an anonymous group chat, and you hopefully finding each other in what we call a “reveal”. Our app seeks to evoke the following emotions: · Fun; playfulness of hide and seek, mystery and intrigue; excitement of group dating; gamification of group and one-on-one interactions · Love: intimacy; passion through the possibility of finding your match in a pool of options · Safety: Sense of safety and privacy of data; security that all participants are authentic. For the color options we are thinking of a combo of blue, orange and yellow which are the colors of fire. We are open to experimentation with any non obvious color(s) but we do not want the color Purple or the color of Tinder in any submissions.

You do not have to use the combo of the three colors together. Experimentation and creativity is encouraged. No Tinder color.

Please avoid using masks in your design. It seems very predictable and might give the impression that the app is a shady place. We expect you to still be able to capture some level of mystery, intrigue and fun without this. We will advise that for your concept, you stay away from obvious love, ring, and gender signs. We welcome an abstraction of these if you are looking to experiment with them. There are ways to make them work with the right creativity. We are also looking for a design that has both icon and text with the icon being able to stand alone, for example, as an app icon. And because the name "taboo" can be seen as negative, the design should take the negativity out so when the user sees it what comes to mind is not the negative nature or seen as an app for people that have something to hide or are sneaky. At its core, taboo is basically a mobile game for finding love.
