heyfoodnyc got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a logo that will one day be in grocery stores everywhere!

Food & Drink
It's a vegan food stand selling different variations of risotto burgers. The target audience is an urban millenial. We're not trying to target the stereotypical tree-hugging vegan, we're targeting every day people who are health conscious, environmentally aware, and more than anything open-minded.
We're looking for something classy, but not elite or pretentious. The closest comparison would be hamptoncreek.com (although not crazy about their actual logo, their overall aesthetic is awesome).

Vallent was amazing and very clear with her communication.
Loved her work and working with her! She got the direction and was very quick on turning over her work! Highly Recommended!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
