We are creating a premium tortilla chip brand. A delicious, crispy, and authentic restaurant-style tortilla chips, and contain no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. Not your averaged bagged tortilla chip, these tortilla chips do not skip the quality and or authentic taste you’d expect from a restaurant. Our chips will also differ through our innovative new flavors combinations, focusing on heat is a common theme. This will include trendy spicy flavors such as sriracha, jalapeno, wasabi and chipotle. Our chip balances the premium taste consumers crave, without the guilt that comes from unknown ingredients and artificial flavors.
The core purchaser of our premium tortilla chip is aged 14-30 years old. They are on-the-go students or young professionals who tend to live in urban areas. They are educated, with a higher than average household income. This trendy, experience-driven consumer is seeking brands and products that help cultivate their ‘cool’ image. Our chips will be sold adjacent to other food products that will be competing for shoppers’ attention. The most important attribute to our younger consumer is flavor – especially spice as this stimulates the senses. The product is eaten to satisfy hunger/craving, and eat while on the go.
