It is imortant that the logo works well with the logo for the centre for environmentfriendly energy research (logo can be downloaded here: http://www.forskningsradet.no/progn…3988085566 )
Attached a ppt file with some suggestions for NcNeutron logo that we received internally in the department. Since several of the logo suggestions contain items that link to what things look like, I'll like to comment on some of the ideas below, so you can easily see if this is a idea to use in a logo.
Slide 2-5: The used cylinder connects to the exterior of the reactor hall here at IFE - see photo on slide 2. We have also carried out the use of uppercase letters N's in Nc and Neutron and small or printed for the rest of the letters - therefore focus on N's in the proposal.
The dot with the beams will illustrate the rays from the nuclear reactor.
Slide 6-9: Here the dot is replaced with a hexagon that resembles the internal appearance of the reactor (within the cylinder wall).
Slide 10-11: has used the shape of reactor-built 8-edge + cylinder, as well as flags and rays.
Slide 12: Reactor-Built (Circle) with Steel ?, but can also resemble one of the instruments we use? + As well as both IFE and NcNeutron
Slide 13-14: Here's the focus on the font, but the little c in No. 14 can also resemble one of our instruments.
Slide 15: Here is the thought of neutron radiation as waves that move, but also that the neutron is a particle that is like a small magnet (arrow through the circle).
It may be possible that many of these logo proposals are too complicated and try to convey something that is understood only by those involved (us at IFE). But if they are not used directly or in a modified form, they may give you ideas for other suggestions that can be presented to us.
Looking forward to see what you can come up with. This is the same client as http://mozees.no/
