david 2z got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design logo for a race car consulting company

Thinking Machines is my consulting business, as well as the parent business to some ecommerce sites. All my consulting is somehow technology related. Most of my business comes from either custom software programming or building race cars. I have been writing software most my life. I do a lot of corporate extranet systems and translations of early business models to functioning software. I have also been working in (auto) racing for years. I design and make the wiring, sensors, buttons, radios, etc on the car. I consult to quite a few different teams and help troubleshoot broken systems or integrate new ones.
I am thinking something a little less “corporate”. Maybe some sort of design that involves the letters more, and not an icon. The name is mostly used for technical consulting, so maybe something a little more “advanced”. Please do not include a race car, a computer, or anything like that in the logo. It's cheesy. I would like a "modular" logo. Meaning something that has the full name as well as an abbreviated version. That way I can use the smaller version on different media.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.

And then… they selected a winner!
We needed an updated logo, and while we had many great options to choose from, Kacrut Jr. provided us with exactly what we were looking for. After selecting the winner, Kacrut Jr. was very helpful in making minor changes to the design, and very responsive to questions as well. Very great experience!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
