Joe Pas submitted a very unique and eloquent design that incorporated the feelings I was hoping to portray with my logo. He also was open to hearing feedback and suggestions were made right away. It was a pleasure to work with Joe Pas!
How Rick Wood started their logo design journey
Cascade Mountain Tech
My name is Rick Wood. I am the founder of Little Hotties Warmers company. (hand warmers) I sold that company and have started a new company called Cascade Mountain Technologies, LLC Cascade Mountain Technologies is the name of both my brand and company. The company will sell outdoor gear to retailers all over the world just like we did with Little Hotties Warmers, Inc. Check out http://www.littlehottieswarmers.com.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The target audience will be 21 - 60 year males and females in the middle to upper income level. The typical customers will be soccer moms buying for themselves and their kids/husbands and end users of all ages and gender. They will have a passion for the outdoors. Most will be hikers, backpackers, campers, skiers, snowboarders snowmobilers, snowshoers. Products will be for both winter and summer but mostly winter seasons.
I need a logo that I can use on packaging & products to be sold in places such as Costco and Sam's Club. I will also use the logo on hats, gloves, base layers (long underwear) and possibly on products such as snow shoes.
This is an outdoor company. I would like to see a design relating to the outdoors. i.e. possibly using a mountain sketch/outline. Use the name Cascade Mountain Tech. Do not use "Technologies" because it takes up too much space. The logo must be readable on something as small as a business card and as big as a T-shirt. It must be professional and not cartoonish. It can be simplistic. For a reference please look at Mountain Hardwear's logo. You can view their logo at http://www.mountainhardwear.com. You can also go to http://www.implus.com to view the logos associated with their products.
