Who are you known as?
New Horizons
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
"New Horizons" is a large-scale soil modification program that has just commenced in South Australia. It is about helping farmers improve the fertility and productivity of the soils where they grow their crops so that South Australia can help meet the growing global demand for food. Specifically it is about going deeper and farming the top 50cm of soil rather than the standard 10cm. To achieve this new farming methods and machinery will be required.
