kirsten.knipp got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a logo to improve married life - seriously - RingSafe will save anyone from the doghouse!
Check out kirsten.knipp's Logo design contest…
RingSafe is a simple, elegantly designed clasp worn to prevent the loss of a ring, most commonly a wedding band. RingSafe was developed by a newly wed couple shortly after their honeymoon, because the husband's construction work meant he had to take his ring off frequently - and misplaced it. After trying a few different solutions, he developed the first RingSafe prototype because a ring can be replaced, but the sentiment and meaning that go with it can't. RingSafe's target audience is anyone who does not want to lose a precious ring - but most commonly will be worn by married people who need to remove their ring(s) when doing work or hobbies/sports that are best done with no jewelry. Examples: construction, medical or spa staff who take rings off for safety or cleanliness, basketball, surfing or weight lifting enthusiasts who don't want to damage their rings or their hands and hobbyists or houseworkers who might wash dishes, garden or do other things with their hands. This product will be sold to both men and women - but it is expected that in many cases, the buyer will be a woman but the wearer/user will be a man. Thus it is important that the logo be appealing to both genders.
Logo types to explore
Please check out our starter website for images of the product that will give you a very good idea: www.ringsafe.com. NOTE: We are not 100% stuck on the template we are using and will be changing it and trying different fonts/styles. We would like a Logo Produced that allows us to use the logo both WITH and WITHOUT the product name. FramedArt is a good example where they can use it with the Red Box or without. Optimally the design would use a font that is either publicly available OR available at low cost so we can be consistent with our font usage. One idea (but not necessarily the best, worth trying) is using a very stylized version of a combo lock with a ring on it to convey the 'safety' of the ring. Might be too cutesy or if done well could work out nicely.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.

VPcacao was great. Very patient with our organization. We were very slow to make decisions but VPcacao was very responsive when we asked for changes and ideas. I would highly reccoment, I really can't say enough good things about our experience.
