Design a logo for a ground-breaking social justice organization

Our organization is the first national resource for transgender and non-binary students at historically women's colleges. While these colleges have formal policies that allow for trans men, women and non-binary students to be eligible for enrollment and graduation, they continue to experience exclusion, violence, harassment, and other negative experiences on campus due to a lack of support from their institutions. Our organization tries to remedy this gap by providing free, accessible, and transparent information by students for potential applicants and students to learn about resources available on their campus, connect with other students at other colleges, and provide educational material to people seeking to support these groups. Ultimately, we're an educational social justice organization.

I’m open to ideas on the type of logo that’s best for my brand. We do like to take into consideration accessibility as much as possible-- using sans serif fonts, no greens or reds preferably. Our main color is bold purple (#7641AB). We're open to incorporating the trans flag, but we're not big fans of the baby pinks and blues as main colors. We also like the idea, but are not married to it, the idea of open gates or a bridge, or we like ones that have some color blocking or colorful artistic component--our @ sign can also be used in some kind of central design feature. Our organization is in line with others like Trans Student Educational Resource (TSER), GLSEN, Trevor Project, Campus Pride, etc. so we attached to the form a number of logos we like or similar organizations. We also included our tagline above, but we don't feel like it has to be part of the design either!
