jdempewolf got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a Logo for GeoKestrel Forest, Agriculture, Nature Assessments
Check out jdempewolf's Logo design contest…
GeoKestrel helps foresters, farmers and protected area managers to more efficiently manage, monitor and evaluate their natural resources. For that we use forestry, agriculture and environmental expert knowledge, modern drone and satellite remote sensing, GIS and on-the-ground measurements and mapping technologies. Our services include: forest plantation planning; forest certification; tree log skidding trails mapping and design; protected areas vegetation mapping, intervention planning and documentation; tree cadasters and tree health condition assessments; agricultural field assessment and monitoring for precision agriculture; agricultural damage assessments.
One of the tools we use for our work are drones, but they are only tools. The focus is clearly on applications for forestry, environment and agriculture. A kestrel is a predatory bird which is able to stand still in the air while searching for prey with very sharp vision, similar to a multi-copter drone. The uploaded logo draft with the kestrel holding a remote sensing camera is only one possible example, however the designer should not feel having to replicate this specific draft. In any case it is too complicated and the logo has to be something much more abstract.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
