maetl got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design the logo for a dystopian political organisation in a fictional universe
Check out maetl's Logo design contest…
The Arcadia Foundation is a fictional organisation that appears in my forthcoming novel/game. See Muturangi.com for a synopsis. The Arcadia Foundation is a New Zealand based political organisation aimed at promoting South Island sovereignty as an independent state called ‘Arcadia’, rather than being part of the traditional nation of New Zealand. Target audience is mainstream Kiwis and anyone living in the South Island, particularly those who support low taxes, economic freedom for business, and more libertarian views. The role of this organisation in the fictional universe is slightly dystopian. The visual identity should represent this, being slightly cold and corporate in tone, but representing the vitality, energy and epic landscape of the South Island. I intend to use the logo and graphic identity to develop promotional materials and content for the online components of the story, to give readers more of a sense of realism and immerse them in the fictional universe.
