We are aiming to innovate the traditional italian dining experience with small plates, pizza, house made pasta and entrees. We will create a lively and animated bar scene with dj's during dinner service. We will also have a small market with house made items and premium sandwiches that'll cater to a lunch and delivery crowd. The name giovanni jones was purposeful to represent both the italian (giovanni) and american (jones) influence. We are located in historic fells point, baltimore, md in a historic building. Flowers and bright colors will be part of our interior design aesthetic - along with traditional pieces. I think some of this represented in the logo if it looks cool. We need some outside the box thinking and don't want to simply see a whole bunch of different fonts. few to directions to go: 1) embrace the italian american influence between giovanni and jones. Also need to be thinking of cool ways to involve our market experience as separate but connected. 2) being thoughtful about the historical nature of the property 3) incorporate some of the floral influence into the logo that will represent the interior aesthetic.
