Recent feedback: Ed, your family photography is absolutely the best! It's the most fun I've ever seen. So much more personality and expression than the typical "Mom-Dad-and-Kids-wearing-matching-clothes-with-white-background" shots. Maybe others are doing family portraits in this style but this is the first I've seen of it. Even if others are doing it (are they?) it all boils down to the photographer's mutual creativity with the family. Definitely talent. You've got it, man!"
"Ed Steele has the magical ability to capture vibrant, human energy from the world around him and then share it with others in the form of flat rectangles that we call 'photographs.' He is a wizard of light and spirit."
"If you're in a band and you get band shots from anyone other than Ed Steele you are using the B-team."
"The photographer must receive his due. His name is Ed Steele and is easily the best performance/band photographer that I've ever seen. I've been to the same shows and what I come back with and what he produces can easily be made into a "this is why you need a professional" advertisement. Oh yeah, he's also a fellow bunny lover."
"Your work is really captures the raw essence of people and what they do..dig it."
