Who are you known as?
Carolina Flyer Brewery
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a small craft brewery that focuses on the experience of beer, its culture, and the local scene.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Our brewery name is a play on words, representing North Carolina through "Flyer", as related to the first plane to fly, the Wright Flyer. It also suggests a race horse name, because the brewery evokes the image of a horse and suggest a race horse name "Carolina Flyer". I like brewery logos that include hops and barley, and I enjoy the classic look but with bright, pastel type colors (if that even makes sense?) There should be a horse as a focus. Early ideas involved the horse wearing old timey aviator goggles and a flying scarf. There could also be an old era airplane included as well. I'm shooting for simplicity in all of this though. No realism type logos. Something simple, classic, with the above elements, some eye catching color but not necessarily colors that are true to form (e.g. the horse doesn't need to be brown, the hops don't need to be green, etc.) This logo will be used on signage as well as bottle labels eventually, so the simplicity part plays into that. Thanks for all your help!
