We are a firm that raises funds to invest in seed to early stage biotech and healthcare companies. We have two target audiences. The first, is our investor audience, which will include high net worth individuals, family offices, and eventually institutional investors. This demographic is mostly older, wealthier, highly educated men. The second audience will be biotech companies, which is mostly made up of scientists, medical doctors, or technologists. This is also probably largely older men, but highly educated, serious, technical, and potentially not wealthy. The investors will be seeking a credible, reliable company (key word is 'trust' since we will be managing their money). The biotech companies will also be seeking a serious, credible investor, probably with a bit of prestige. It might be important to note that our team is Paris-based and will initially focus on European-based investments, but we think a 'Bay Area sensibility' will be an attractive asset to our target customers (i.e., clean, elevated design).
