Who are you known as?

ReadyUP Canada is a non-profit organization created to address the digital divide experienced by First Nations, Métis, and Inuit people in Canada, a population that is currently under represented in the technology industry; specifically in the IT and software space. Our goal is to improve upon unequal access to educational resources and support the advancement of digital literacies in communities across Canada, through meaningful programs that help Indigenous people enter and be successful in the technology industry
Software and technology are an important part to the future of our nation's economic growth. Ultimately, we want to see Canada’s Indigenous population recognized as having a key role in the technology industry – getting jobs at top tier tech companies, creating successful startups, and leading research at academic institutions.
