The Hound is a family-owned restaurant in Auburn, Alabama. The dining room/bar was designed with a casual hunter's lodge in mind (think exposed brick, original concrete slab floors, raw edge wood tables, taxidermy hanging).
Although our environment is intimate and casual, we boast about our exceptional service and exquisite food. 'Bacon and Bourbon' is our slogan because we cut & cure our own bacon in house (A LOT OF IT) and we have over 100 different bourbon/whiskey selections in house.
Although we sit right on the edge of Auburn University's campus, our target audience spans multiple demographics and age groups, not just college students. Our average customer is in their 20s-50s and is dressed in business casual or casual attire when they dine with us.

I have attached our existing logo(s) that we use to this email. My gut tells me it is probably not great that we have more than one logo in the first place. Over the course of being open for six years we have gone through two logo tweaks. I call it a 'logo tweak' and not a redesign because they were minor adjustments to our logo at the time. Even with those tweaks, we still aren't 100% satisfied with our logo.
There are two (2) guidelines we have for our new logo. Due to the signage on our actual building, we need to maintain a similar, not the same, font style (look at jpeg file titled "The Hound Logo" not the png file titled "The Hound Logo Revision" for the original signage font style). The second guideline is that we would like to maintain some component of antlers.
I believe it is worth mentioning that we now have a sister restaurant in our company, The Depot. Their logo was developed through the 99 designs process as well.
