marjmacintosh got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a Killer Logo for My Vintage Shop on Etsy
Check out marjmacintosh's Logo design contest…
My product is a vintage store on Etsy that sells women's vintage clothes from the 1920s through the 1970s with a focus on the 1940's and 1950's. The target audience is a modern women 25-35 who loves vintage clothes. So the idea here is ultra classic vintage clothing interpreted in a distinctly modern way. I've just barely started listing but my shop can be seen below (lots more items, particularly from the 40s and 60s to come) Also - they color scheme of clothes is very holidays at the moment for a reason, but expected to vary much more... https://www.etsy.com/shop/FoxyMinxVintage
Addition: Think clean, classy, modern, indie - perhaps with an edgy/natural element. After seeing a couple of designs so far, I want to add that I would like to steer clear of having a person or any kind of fashion items directly in the logo. Would prefer something more abstract. A foxy minx is a sexy, classy, unique and playful lady. Not necessarily a fox (the animal). The fox (animals) so far are feeling cartoony so keep em out unless you have a really modern or classy take on them. I am really preferring the ones that are more abstract/dont have cartoons. Thanks for taking a look! I think the below seller does a really great job at branding and she has more of the the other types of styes you will see in my shop eventually (however she has a model to convey the young modern part and I do not at this point - so I need the logo to really be on point in conveying the right message :) . That said, not trying to copy her logo. Just think she does a good job and would be a good resource if you are interested in the types of clothing that will be in my shop. https://www.etsy.com/shop/VintageVictoryGirl
