We worked together to design an akita mascot for our company, Akita. Gila was very patient and accommodating with our requests for changes and after a few weeks of back and forth, we finally emerged with an extremely cute mascot we are all very happy with.
Awesome work. Responsive. Generated a range of creative ideas quickly. Wish I had someone like him on every project.
- Patricia DCV
Patricia worked with the feedback that we were giving the designers and came up with many different options for us to choose from. She was responsive once we decided on her for the final. She was able to embody our message via an image. I would keep her in the running if I need another logo!
The artist did a good job on the design and also uploaded a bunch of other designs to help me along my way. Thank you!

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We're an educational school/space/consultancy that doesn't focus on tests or grades but rather on wisdom and authenticity. It's an ethically motivated space where students will study meditation, happiness, wisdom in film, wisdom in poetry, what it means to live a fulfilling life, how to design their lives, how to find passion in their skills, how to remain present and open to life. On the left is the university with lots of knowledge. On the right is the church, with religious dogma and lots of 'thou shalt nots.' The Wisdom Smithy is in the middle, interested in helping people awaken to reality and find meaning in whatever they do. But it's not new-agey or woo-woo: this is important. No clouds or fuzzy puppies or rainbows or kittens. We are grounded and authentic, not sentimental and dreamy. So it's like a school of philosophy for those who never really studied it, or for whom philosophy was too analytical in college.
Check out http://www.theschooloflife.com to see another group doing a similar thing. Teaching Emotional Intelligence is another way of phrasing what we'll offer students. All ages 14 and over are welcome, though I'm guessing the real target audience will be college and post-college students and people living in the corporate world.
