We are looking for a fresh new take on our current logo (attached). It has the geometry of the "seed of life" hidden in it which resonate with. And there is an abstract person in the center (representing vibrant health) and a flower (representing growth or nature/natural). If you have a different design idea we are open to that too. I'm not sure if we need the tag line included, so it would be good to see options. Also we'd like to consider co-brand this with our founder, Julie Matthews if at all possible. If you have ideas of how to incorporate Julie Matthews in the logo that would be great, otherwise, just keeping it to Nourishing Hope is fine.
If you resonate with our organization but feel a different type of design is better (than our current request above), we are open to that too.
We are currently working with the fonts Raleway (for headings) and Muli (for paragraph text). But we are open to other fonts if you feel something else is better. The website in NourishingHope.com.
We like blue because it's a hopeful color. We are considering a teal or turquoise in addition. We want to also convey trustworthy, scientific yet approachable. The EPS file is the original if you want to try updating the original design. It still has old fonts. We'd like to make it fresh and current. We tend to like bright colors.
Are visitors are both 1) parents of children with autism (and other special needs) and 2) doctors, nutritionists, and practitioners who work with children with autism. Generally speaking our population is more women... moms and nutritionists, but we have men too so we don't want it too feminine. We are very science oriented but don't want it dry and institutional.
Here are some feelings we'd like our visitors to feel:
