Eat Gather Grow Create
Food & Drink
1) Savor and Sage is a blog about my love for cooking and eating, and how food brings people together but it's also about growing, cultivating what's within you, stories, and dropping a few nuggets of wisdom about life. I'll be doing posts on home and lifestyle and interviews with guests. The tag line is Eat|Gather|Grow|Create 2) Savor is for the food aspect of the blog but also about savoring life. Sage is an herb but also means wise. A bit of a play on the words given everything that will be in the blog. 3) I want the logo to invoke excitement for food, learning something new and elements of me. When someone looks at the logo they can almost smell or taste what I'm cooking or hear nuggets of wisdom. The image has to speak food as well as wisdom but not be too busy or on the nose, if that makes sense and feel like me, playful, edgy, sassy, bold. 4)I prefer wordmark logos but would consider a combo with a drawing of me silhouette style with glasses and hoop earrings. Pics of hair inspiration and my glasses below. I also lean more towards fonts in the san serif family but I'm open. 5) Overall the logo should be bold, fun, contemporary, clean/simple and have a hint of sophistication but not stuffy.
Other color requirements
There are two color combos I'm leaning towards #1- Navy/Dark teal, fuschia/purple, and orange or #2- Dark teal, green, and orange I tend to like more jewel/deeper tones rather than pastels. I'm also open to suggestions. I've attached some color inspirations below.
