Smeg has been fantastic to work with. His concepts are innovative, smart, and aesthetic, and he is receptive to critique and suggestion. I couldn't be more pleased with the finished logo and how thoughtful, receptive, and creative Smeg has been throughout the process.

My designer was amazing responsive and gave incredible creative energy to this project. Each idea was more interesting than the last. In the end, it was such a hard decision between the incredible concepts, but I chose this one because it was clean, meaningful, uplifting and versatile. I love my new logo!
I've been coming back to LU for a few years now, and I am always very happy with the outcome! Consistently brilliant!

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am a winery selling white and red wines and targeting all drinking age people. I am up in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains about 3000 feet elevation between the middle and north fork of the american river. The Foresthill bridge is the tallest bridge in California. A little about this property. It was the mid- sixties when a UC Davis professor was retiring and decided to create a dry farm up in the foothills. He purchased 60 acres of land that was covered in spruce, pine, and cedar trees. He recorded everything he did. All his journals, transactions and reports where intact. His mortgage document for the land was 1 page. He cleared about 30 acres of the property, built a very practical and well built home and planted 20 acres of walnuts. They were chandler walnuts on black walnut stock. He wanted to be able to harvest the black walnut if he needed to. He then planted 12 different varieties of grapes. 10 varieties of apples and pears, cherries, hazelnuts, pistachios, plums, apricots and christmas trees. He sold the walnuts to Diamond walnuts, and grapes to Louis Jadot. I still have his contracts, sugar levels, rainfall log he had recorded for about a decade. It is a beautiful piece of property. Reading his letters and documents transcends you into his life. I have one bottle of wine from 1983 that he made from his grapes. Unfortunately he could no longer take care of the property and had to sell. He sold it to a lady with horses and she didn't take care of the farm. She eventually had to leave and the family subdivided it into 3 -20 acre parcels and I bought the one with the home, walnuts, grapes, cherries, hazelnuts and pears. I am trying to make something out of this beautiful piece of property. Return it to what he envisioned. It snows 3-4 times a year up here and there is plenty of wildlife. Black bears that love walnuts, deer that enjoy grapes, mountain lions that love hunting off the roof of the home. I hope this helps and gives you a vision of what it is like up there.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
A nice bridge with rivers running underneath, tall pines, cedar, spruce trees, mountains, lakes. Anything nature. I also love bicycles and would love to have a bike hidden somewhere in the picture. Kind of like where's waldo....
