docubid1 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a creative logo for an essay-writing company
Check out docubid1's Logo design contest…
Docubid is a peer-to-peer platform that connects learners and professionals with writers from different academic fields and backgrounds. The startup is academic by nature, whose purpose is bridging the students and people from the workforce with writers over a website. Writers can help the service-seekers with writing, editing, proofreading and paraphrasing services. Simply put, a user would visit Docubid's website, place a new project, where they’ll post all their document's relevant description (due date, length, guidelines/instructions, etc.) and choose a specific category (philosophy, business, literature, etc.). Thereafter, writers who belong to the chosen category will bid their price for the project, and thereafter the user would choose their most favorable proposal depending on the writer’s profile and price. As mentioned, Docubid serves as the intermediary channel between both users.
We’re looking for a creative designer to design our company’s logo, a simple one that delivers the message and purpose. The logo should be highly-creative, not overcrowded with colors (one or two primary colors at most), and preferably has a hidden message in it (I do prefer creative designs). The logo should translate confidence, reliability, experience, friendliness, professionalism with a sense of approachability, and trustworthiness. The logo should address our target groups (85%+ of them are university students), aged between 17-25 (we do sometimes serve Master’s and PhD students, and thus the target group can be above 25).The logo’s colors will be used to base our website’s design at a future stage. Additionally, the designer is highly recommended to follow a minimalistic approach when designing the logo. Curvy typography is also preferable.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $349.
