Logo types to explore
We are looking for a clean, modern design that incorporates an image of a dragon. Our vision is a monochrome image, but we're open to maroon / brown accents. Here are some images to give you an idea of what we're looking to do: Chinese Calligraphy for the Year of Dragon (http://www.pinterest.com/pin/291678513340829975/): I like the 'brush stroke' style of this dragon. I envision a similar image, but more simplified. I'd also like the image to go across rather than up and down. Fabienne Verdier Chinese Calligraphy Painting (http://www.pinterest.com/pin/291678513340829941/): I like the "feel" of this image. Again, the brush stroke feel is what I'm looking for. I also like circular design, and the color scheme. I think this type of texture would be great for a business card. The image also feels "solid." Dragon (http://www.pinterest.com/pin/291678513340829943/): I like the clean lines and modern look of this image. If you were able to combine this modern 'feel' with the brush-stroke concept, I think we'd have what we're looking for. The strong, youthful energy is what I like about this image. I also like how it is simple and 'pops.' HAKONE Dragon logo (http://www.pinterest.com/pin/291678513340829945/): I like the clarity of this image. If the dragon image would have been done with brush strokes, I think the font would be a good compliment to this. I like the circular design of the logo. What I don't like is that it feels cluttered. Johnnie Walker Chinese Year of the Dragon (http://www.pinterest.com/pin/291678513340829946/) : This is an example of how I'd like our logo to look if we put it on a black box. I like this box and the way it's designed. It's creative, high end, and modern. I want our logo and card to be capable of producing these feelings. Our end product should include the following file formats for both the business logo and business card (high-res for printing): PNG, PSD, PDF, AI Please use standard fonts that will render on websites (including web fonts). For the logo, no stock images, clip art, or anything that has been previously used. We are looking for custom artwork.
