jakefd got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a badass logo for a First Responder clothing company
Check out jakefd's Logo design contest…
Code Black Clothing was founded by a paramedic who wanted to create comfortable, high-performance clothing for First Responders (Paramedics/ EMTs, Firemen, Police, Military, etc.) to wear both on duty and off. The name is derived from one of the code names hospitals use to alert their staff to a deadly emergency.
Code Black is a term regularly used to alert military, hospital staff, paramedics/ EMTs, and police of an extreme emergency/ situation (e.g. bomb threat, hurricane/ tornado, terrorist attack, etc.). One logo idea we came up with to represent this is The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Above we’ve attached 3 examples of this. PLEASE feel free to come up with your own ideas though. We are looking for literal interpretations and realistic drawings/ silhouettes. We’ve also attached the USA Flag design that will go on the right sleeve of our shirts. A few requirements: 1. The logo should look badass. 2. The logo should only use the color Black (#000000) and no other colors. The parts of the logo without color would be the color of our shirts (e.g. black, white, navy blue, military green, and red). 3. The logo will generally be placed on the front of our shirts in the top left corner in a space of about 4 inches x 4 inches. The last attachment is an example of this. Updates: We DO NOT want logos that: 1. Use the symbols of the professions (e.g. paramedic, police, firemen, etc.). 2. Use the initials of Code Black or Code Black Clothing as the logo. 3. Just use horse heads in the design. If the Four Horsemen idea is used in your design please reference our two attached images of them and either use the rider's silhouettes or knight chess pieces. 4. Just use the Four Horsemen's weapons (see item 3 for reason).
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
